Leadership team

Rebecca Kacaba has been honored as one of Lexpert’s ‘Top 40 Under 40’ in the legal field and was recognized as one of North America’s most innovative lawyers by the Financial Times. She practiced law on Bay Street for over 10 years and was co-chair of the Toronto Venture Technology and Emerging Growth Companies Group at a global law firm while she worked in Canada’s financial district.

Named one of North America's most innovative lawyers by the Financial Times, Mat brings a wealth of legal and multi-disciplinary business development experience to DealMaker's executive leadership team. From practicing law on both Wall Street and Bay Street to building and advising numerous startups, Mat brings a unique perspective to solving complex business problems. Mat holds a JD from the University of Toronto as well as FINRA Series 7 and Series 24 licenses.

Ryan focuses on building the financial foundation for the company's long-term success. He brings extensive experience in technology and the capital markets, specializing in strategies that optimize operational efficiency and drive strategic growth.
